An avid follower of music, particularly dance music, I first started mixing after I met a group of lads in a nightclub in Cardiff (Silhouettes) in the early '90s.  A workmate (RIP Lavern Ritch) had cheekily pinched a Kangol hat from one of them and somehow I ended up with it.  Confronted by a group of angry lads demanding the hat back, I merely handed it back calmly (and innocently!) and forged great friendships with them all.  Thanks to these friends, I got exposure to mixing and that's where my musical journey really began.

Once I had learned the fundamentals of turntables/mixing, I DJ'ed at many free parties. Then, I secured a monthly residency slot at Clwb Ifor Bach (Cardiff) at a night called "Juice Joint" which was held on Thursdays in the mid-90s.  I used to frequent the night religiously as they played techno and was one of the very few venues in Cardiff at the time that was playing decent techno.

Once the night ceased, I concentrated more on learning how to produce music with Cubase and samplers.   It was something I felt that I had to learn.

Eventually, because of my job and the opportunities it gave me to see the world, I opted to work abroad (I work in the casino industry).

Here and now: a friend encouraged me to get back into my music having left it alone for so long.

I have mixes on SoundCloud, MixCloud and YouTube....watch out for my new works.  I am aiming for at least a new mix every month.

Currently, I am a resident DJ on Fnoob Techno Radio, hosting a 4 weekly event called "The Noise Gate" running from Tuesday midnight into early Wednesday (Tue 00:00 - 01:00 Wed).

Prior to becoming a host, I have also mixed Guest sets on Fnoob. One on Peter Hathaways 'Soundcheck Sessions' back in October 2013 then in December, I shared a 2 hour slot on 'The Labyrinth',  alongside Jack Dark (Steve Tisdale).
